The Love Bug

This original poem called The Love Bug uses the analogy of a virus described as a poison spreading throughout the world, to demonstrate love is the only means to defeat the hatred we have seen in mankind of late:
The Love Bug
If Hate
is a poison.
Love
must be
the antidote.
True love
is a rarity,
so it can be
likened
to a virus.
Infection can
circulate invisibly,
so let’s make
a difference
this year
by spreading
LOVE.
