We all recognize the talent of the late, Muhammad Ali, but what could possibly be his legacy? Elle Smith takes to verse in her original poem "Did the Bee Sting" to offer a unique perspective of that legacy:
Did the Bee Sting?
I float like a butterfly,
and sting like a bee.
You ask for my name,
it’s Muhammad Ali.
I visited this earth,
each one to inspire.
I left this dear planet,
ever filled with desire.
I challenged them all,
no tower was too tall.
Showering with words,
each one soon did fall.
You ask what my legacy
could ever truly be?
It‘s the realization of,
inner strength in thee.
