True Beauty

I watch a perfect pink peony,

with a thousand petals it seemed.

It’s scent and fluffy cluster,

aroused my eyes and soul to dream.

A beautiful hummingbird arrived,

and was buzzing gently in the air.

It created alluring music,

which wafted toward my ears.

I glimpse a Japanese Acer,

which appears to be in crouch.

Indigo delight is only surpassed,

by the way its branches pronounce.

Close by a brook gently trickled,

across giant pebble stones it flows.

The water danced and shimmied,

like popcorn in random swirls.

Nature supplies endless beauty,

free for a lifetime and even more.

Cherish your time within this garden,

enjoying the carnival galore.
